GH Spoilers: Chase and BLQ Tie the Knot With Tracy’s Help and Finn Accidentally Falls Off the Wagon

Thurs May 16, 2024: Violet performs at the wedding, Sam asks Spinelli for help, and Portia and Jordan wonder why they are there.

Wednesday’s GH recap: Gregory started to choke during Chase and BLQ’s wedding before they could say I do.

In the chapel, Gregory is officiating BLQ and Chase’s wedding.

As soon as he starts, he finds it almost impossible to speak.

As he freezes, his sons ask if he’s okay.

Gregory grips the pulpit and Tracy joins him, assuring him that everyone understands.

Violet picks up the papers he dropped and hands them to him as Tracy urges him to breathe.

Once Tracy returns to her seat, he starts again.

This time, it runs smoothly.

The bride and groom are prompted to make their vows as everyone watching smiles.

They exchange their “I dos” and Gregory quotes Shakespeare on love before commending them on their illuminating love.

Chase has his final vows memorized and recites them.

She knows her too and runs through them.

Finn hands over the rings and everyone giggles as Gregory explains the significance of the rings.

Chase slips the ring on and adds that they did not fall in love at first sight.

The first time they met, she was swinging a bottle at him.

She’s a tsunami and an impossibly beautiful woman.

Her love and faith make him feel invincible and he promises to bring that strength to their marriage every day just as his father always brought strength into his life.

His father is very moved and tells his son how grateful he is.

BLQ places the ring on Chase and makes her vow.

She explains she always wondered what kind of man she would marry. The women in her life taught her not to settle.

Her groom needed to be handsome, strong, smart, love music and her.

He checks all the boxes.

He also needed to be good, kind, patient, and fair and he is a good man.

He makes the world a better place and tries to stop people from making mistakes.

Even when they do, he is forgiving and loving.

She just hopes that he will always forgive her and she will always give him her forgiveness.

Promising to love and cherish him is the easiest promise she’s ever made.

Gregory pronounces them husband and wife and they kiss as everyone claps and cheers.

Chase thanks his father and Gregory adds his bucket list is now complete.

Chase adds holding his grandchild to that list.

Violet asks Olivia to take her to the reception so she can get her big surprise ready.

Chase and BLQ ask Maxie if she has any notes on the wedding.

She thinks the sun could have been brighter.

Chase tells his bride this is their one and only wedding but they can have vow renewals every few years.

Tracy leads Gregory down the aisle and he tells her that she has great finesse and grace.

He sometimes wonders what life would have been like if he’d met her when he was 25.

She’s had the same questions a few times. It definitely would have been different.

Now that their families are joined so beautifully, why would anyone want to change it?

Outside, Sonny and Natalia stand with their daughters and chat about all the familiar faces from the old neighborhood.

The bride and groom walk out and everyone tosses seeds at them.

They pose for wedding photos.

At the reception, Drew and Jordan toast to the happy couple and he wonders when he can slip away.

When she steps away, Jason wanders over and tells his brother Monica asked him to come.

They guess there is no reason for them to talk and Drew walks off.

Curtis tells Portia that no one ever has a clue what they are in for when they take those vows.

Jordan runs into Portia in the bathroom and the doctor asks her what’s going on with Drew.

Jordan says they are just single people at a wedding.

She’s not even sure why she was invited.

Olivia comes in and asks if all is well.

They ask why they were invited as she suggests they speak to Lois.

When Blaze and Kristina go into the bathroom, the singer admits she’s feeling over-chaperoned.

Kristina thinks her mom has been nice today.

They chat about Alexis and Blaze is surprised by how much she likes her mom.

They know their moms are crazy about them, if not their choices.

Anna and Lois lead Gloria in to try and clean something out of her eye.

Once they do, she runs back to the dance floor.

Natalia thanks Sonny for the wonderful afternoon.

He asks her to stay for the party.

Giovanni approaches him and Sonny gives him a hug. Natalia admires his playing today.

Sonny paid for his education. They hug some more.

Natalia and Maxie talk about the latest sales at Deception.

When Maxie is alone, Spienlli pops up tp flirt with her.

She loves him and they kiss.

Liz is surprised to run into Jason. He asks if Jake would like to go to the lake with him.

Gloria comes over and asks if Jason ever became a doctor.

He didn’t. She doesn’t blame him.

She can’t stand blood either.

She swans over to Sonny.

Finn sits with his father and tells him he was a rockstar today.

Gregory says that Tracy was the star.

His son thinks they make a good team.

Lois stops by to thank Gregory and introduces him to some family.

The bride and groom arrive. Everyone claps while they kiss.

Olivia yells at everyone to come to attention before introducing the day’s cocktail, the Brooklyn Chaser.

One of the Cerullos starts showing Finn the rash on his leg and asking for advice. Finn gives him the number for a dermatologist.

Sam chats with Spinelli and asks if he can help her investigate the FBI with her.

Ned calls out to everyone to announce that Violet wrote the newlyweds a song.

They perform it.

As everyone claps, Finn accidentally takes a drink.
