Sister Wives S19E7: Real Villain! Robyn Drop Bombshell Shocking News About Kody!
During the Oct. 27 episode of Sister Wives, Robyn Brown said husband Kody Brown has a “murder face” that she deemed “too scary” to use with their kids.
No one in the Brown family is keen to incur the wrath of Kody Brown.
During the Oct. 27 episode of Sister Wives, Kody’s exes and his only remaining wife, Robyn Brown, all discussed the father of 18’s tendency to have intense facial reactions.
“I call it his murder face. I hate it,” Robyn, who shares five kids with Kody, said during her confessional. “You can’t use the murder face on the kids. He’s like, ‘Get in your pajamas.’ I’m like, ‘That’s too scary, take it back a notch. Lift the eyebrows.’”
Meri Brown, Kody’s first wife who terminated their spiritual marriage with the church in late 2022, shared with friends of her ex, “He really doesn’t seem like the happy person he used to be.”
But Janelle Brown, who separated from Kody in 2022, noted that her former husband has always been this way.
“Kody’s always been kind of intense,” Janelle, who married Kody in 1993, said. “Even when he’s just talking seriously, he tends to have this face.”
The former polygamist, who has been through three splits in the last few years, admitted to having an angry disposition in the wake of his divorces.

“I’m angry,” he said during his confessional. “It’s not that I’m grumpy or yelling or doing something. It’s that I have rest a–hole face.”
After Christine Brown left Kody in 2021, Janelle and Meri followed suit shortly after, leaving him estranged from the majority of his adult children and putting a strain on his only remaining marriage to Robyn.
“To have kids who struggle with their dad, it’s really, really hard,” Christine exclusively told E! News earlier this month. “I would love it if they had a good relationship with him.”

Christine and Kody, who were spiritually wed for 25 years before their split, share children Aspyn Thompson, 29, Mykelti Padron, 28, Paedon Brown, 26, Gwendlyn Brown, 22, Ysabel Brown, 21, and Truely Brown, 14. And despite where she personally stands with Kody, Christine has tried to help her kids find common ground.
“I just tell them, ‘You’ve got to accept him where he’s at,’” the 51-year-old shared, “’And be open, just be open when he calls, answer the phone.’”
Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
